A Warm welcome to Mushroom Rainforest Resort.

There are many walks through the rainforest on our private grounds. We have labeled many of the trees for added interest.

The surrounding area does have a wealth of attractions. It is populated by many hill tribes including Yao, Karen, Lisu, Akha, Hmong and Padaung (commonly known as Long neck tribes which are part of the Karen people and do not actually originate in Thailand). There are many golden temples to visit as well as visits to local businesses such as Miang tea, coffee plantations and local "whisky" distilleries.

There are waterfalls, caves and hot springs in the area and elephant camps with shows and rides. You might want to try bamboo river rafting or, for the more adventurous, white water rafting and bungy jumping.

For many just relaxing at the resort and absorbing the atmosphere of the rainforest will be all that they need.
